In the recent past, IPEK has invested heavily in new 5-axis CNC turning and milling centres and is well prepared for the challenges of the future.

New investments have been made in optical shaft encoders to increase productivity and flexibility and reduce the number of faulty parts. This is the operator-independent, fast and reliable metrological solution for rotationally symmetrical parts. In February 2019, the production area was expanded by a further 800 m2, creating two separate areas for the CNC sliding headstock automatic lathes and the CNC turning and milling centre.

This is part of our long-term strategy to keep the company profitable and competitive well beyond its 30th anniversary in 2022.
